Project:
Reconstruction of Cathedral.
During the 21 years of war most of the churches in the Dioceses
were bombed, and some dismantled and rebuilt as mosques.
The
churches are more than just structures they are a place where
people can go to for help in times of need, hope in time of
despair, and are at the core of every humanitarian effort.
The Cathedral of the Dioceses was defaced and many attempts were
made to destroy it. Although they were never successful it left
the building structurally unsafe. Fearing a deadly collapse on
the congregation the bishop has a dream to elevate the peoples
mind and hearts by dismantling the Cathedral and rebuilding it
to its former glory.
Cost to
rebuild the Cathedral: $100,000
